Total Station Support for Xsite® PRO 3D

With our latest machine control software release (LNX v14.6.), Xsite PRO 3D with LANDNOVA X allows you to utilize a total station with your excavator’s 3D machine control system.

A total station enables the use of a 3D machine control in environments where there’s no satellite visibility, e.g., tunnels, city centers, or between high rock cuts.

Total station support can also be added to an existing Xsite PRO 3D system with an upgrade kit.

After the installation of necessary components and cables, switching between total station positioning and “regular” GNSS positioning is simple. Just swap the prism to a GNSS antenna, and you’re good to go!
