-CARRY OUT EVEN THE MOST DEMANDING PROJECTS WITHOUT STAKING OUT
USE 3D MODELS MADE BY DESIGNERS
SUPPORTS MOST COMMON DATA FORMATS WITHOUT CONVERSIONS
The Xsite® PRO with advanced 3D features is a versatile machine control system which is suitable for both small and large sites. The system is particularly well suited for use on sites where a 3D model is created beforehand by a designer or a surveyor, for example of the structure of a road, pipe systems or the foundations of a building. Thanks to the large and bright display and easy-to-read graphics, any task is a breeze for the machine operator. If required, you can also use the system with more traditional working methods, for instance with a laser.
USE LINE AND SURFACE MODELS SIMULTANEOUSLY
OPEN AND COMPATIBLE SYSTEM
Satellite positioning enables working without staking. With a single GNSS antenna, the location of the machine is known at all times, and the direction is set by rotating the machine after it has been moved. With the help of two GNSS antennas, the machine’s location and direction are constantly known.
DIGITAL TERRAIN MODELS
When a 3D surface model has been created for a project, the operator can see the profile, cross section and height difference to the model surface on his screen. The system supports most common file formats directly from CAD programs, without the need for format conversion.
When working with lines the system shows the height difference and sideway distance of the bucket to a selected line. The system also shows the station number. If needed, the operator can add a 2D background map to the screen to make working more easier.
USING MULTIPLE MODELS
A project can consist of many different types of models in different formats. Surface models, lines, points and background maps can be displayed on the screen simultaneously, if desired. It is also possible to measure to more than one target at the same time, for example to a surface model and to a line model in road construction.
WIRELESS DATA TRANSFER
The wireless Internet connection makes it easy to transfer data between the jobsite and office. Design models can be sent wirelessly to the machine, and in the same fashion, data collected by the machine can be sent to the office for further handling or documentation purposes.
A wireless Internet connection makes it possible to create a remote connection between the machine control system and the service centre. By using this remote function, technical support can provide you with guidance – without having to visit the site. Remote support saves time and money as it minimizes the downtimes in jobsites.
A project can contain many different models, which can be seen on the screen at the same time if desired. Selecting the model to use for measuring is easy. The operator does not need to open menus; he simply touches the screen at the point of the model being chosen.
